Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 belongs to the famous Navigator series of Shark brand. This model also peaks as one of the most popular upright vacuum cleaner and its price is also very affordable.
Shark NV360 is suitable for most apartments thanks to the ergonomic design. It is capable of cleaning all floor types and very lightweight (13 lbs.). Moreover, it has HEPA filter (recommended for asthma sufferers) and lift-away benefits.
Shark Navigator NV360 is sometimes called a Shark Navigator Deluxe model, to differentiate the number one bestseller Shark Navigator NV356E Pro model. The Deluxe model has all of the benefits of the Shark Navigator series, including:
- Lift-away canister
- Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology + a HEPA filter
- Swivel steering control
- Brush on/off feature
Shark Navigator NV360 works effectively on multiple floor types and areas.
Apart from low price, another great point is about Shark Navigator NV360 weight. This unit weight is just 12.5 lbs, which is even lighter than Shark Navigator NV356E Pro.
A typical upright vacuum weight mainly falls in the range of 16 lbs., this Shark Navigator NV360 can be considered as the best choice for users with weak wrists.
However, Shark Navigator NV360 does not have XL dust cup. It uses a standard dust cup of 1.2 dry quarts. The cord is also a little bit short ( 25 ft.) and the foam filter can get dirty easily. Those are shortcomings of Shark Navigator NV360 that you should consider.
Let us review Shark Navigator NV360 and compare the difference of this model with others to see whether it is a suitable choice for your home in 2019.
Currently, Shark Navigator NV360 has a good discount. It does have free shipping and you may get $50 off via Amazon Visa program (conditions apply and discount can be changed without notice. Please check everything before buying)
Shark Navigator NV360 is a corded upright vacuum, it is a popular model in the Navigator series. This model is featured by the ultra-lightweight (12.5 lbs.) and a standard dust cup (1.2 dry quarts). The weight and dust cup size are key differences of Shark Navigator NV360 with others.
Shark Navigator NV360 uses a motor of 1200 Watts (the standard wattage of Navigator series), giving excellent suction to the floors and carpets.
Standard dust cup
A 1.2 dry quarts dust bin size of Shark Navigator NV360 allows you to clean a medium size apartment efficiently. Most of the upright vacuum units have the dust cup size at this range.
The best benefits of Shark Navigator is about the detachable canister feature. This feature gives you more flexibility to carry around, to clean stairs and under bed areas.
Shark NV360 filters
Shark Navigator NV360 uses a pre-motor foam filter, a felt filter, and a post-motor HEPA filter to trap 99.9% of dust and allergen inside.
However, users noticed the foam filter can get dirty easier than the NV356E Pro version. It means you should wash the filter more frequent to keep the vacuum quality and have good performance.
Recommended filters for Shark NV360: 2 foam filters with 60 PPI density, 2 ultra-thick felt filters with a textured surface, and 1 HEPA filter with H12 efficiency pack from GreenVacshop.
This unit cord is a bit short, which is just 25 ft. We wish Shark will upgrade the cord to 30 ft.

Fix Shark NV360 tips
Q: just plugged mine in for the first time and it is acting like a fencer shocking me every 5 seconds. anyone else has this problem?
A: I have a different model, but it had the same problem. I took the handle apart and removed a metal band, and reassembled. No problem since. Mine is much older and I complained to Shark about it. You would think they would fix this obvious design flaw. It feels like an electric shock…not just static electricity!
Q: For plush carpets, this is the hardest vacuum cleaner to pull. Pushing is easier. Is anyone else having this problem or did I receive a faulty vacuum?
A: That’s strange, maybe it’s faulty? It has 2 modes, one for hardwood floors and the other for carpet. Mode 2 is for carpets and it makes it super easy to glide across the carpet. If yours is not doing that, I would contact Shark and let them know. They are good with their products, I am sure they would help fix the problem.
Q: Does it have a warranty?
A: We ended up having to use ours. They said we could pay to send the vacuum back (finding an enormous box or paying a shipping store, plus oversized package shipping $40+) and they would see what they could do to fix it for us; it could take up to six weeks.
Q: The vacuum doesn’t pick up. I’ve checked for blockages and washed filters. There’s a hole on the side sucking air loudly. what can I do next?
A: This answer is SO incorrect. Out of desperation, I tried it, and it improved, but not much. I found out through Shark CS that the hole is supposed to be there. I just got off the phone with CS for Shark. For me, I had a blockage in the handle of the unit, which I cleared with a broom handle. Call their CS, they are great with troubleshooting and will get your vacuum back and working the way it should be.
