Overview
As of this writing, the Braava jet® m6 Wi-Fi Connected Robot Mop is iRobot’s newest wet mopping robot vacuum for hard floors. The Braava Jet is designed for continuous cleaning with more personal customization, and is perfect if you have a lot of ground to cover.
This model applies the newest smart features and technologies from iRobot, giving you complete automation on cleaning without ever actually having to touch the machine. And of course it works with latest iRobot Home app.
Intelligent suites of sensors
First, this is the only wet mopping robot with both auto-recharge and auto-resume feature. The robot will vacuum and polish your hard floors until the job is done.
Second, this model is wifi-connected and Alexa voice compatible. You can control the Braava Jet M6 on the smartphone similar to the Roomba.
Another special feature is that Braava Jet M6 can communicate with Roomba (S series and I series). You can let the Roomba (i7 model, i7+ model, s9 model, and s9+ model) to vacuum the floors, and then the Braava jet M6 will mop the floors in sequence (Imprint link technology).
Braava Jet M6 uses VSLAM sensors, it will learn, map, and optimize the cleaning process. When starting the cleaning process, the VSLAM sensors will detect the surrounding environment and build the map. This map is used for cleaning optimization later on.
Therefore, the longer time the Braava Jet M6 cleans your home, the faster it can clean. Besides, the Imprint smart technology also allows you to choose which area to clean, and when to clean. This feature is a great benefit because it is the only wet mopping robot to have such capability.
On the performance side, Braava Jet M6 uses a precise jet sprayer to attack the stains and dirt, a wet mopping wicking fiber pad to clean grease, dirt, and grime in the kitchen. When doing dry mopping, you can use the dry microfiber pad with electrostatic force to keep the dust and allergen.

Construction
iRobot Braava jet m6 6110 has a rectangular shape, making it more efficient when doing edge cleaning than a round shape design. The unit is measured by 10.6 x 10.6 x 3.5 in. The robot has a small water reservoir where you can put the detergent formula into, to clean spots, grime, and grease.
The best part of Braava jet m6 6110 is all about mapping technology. This unit uses VSLAM sensors to create a real-time mapping of the floor plans, giving users better control of cleaning areas.
You can control the robot manually via the button on the robot or the smartphone. With wifi-connection, you can uses iRobot app, incorporated with Alexa or Google assistant to ask, schedule cleaning.
The Braava jet m6 6110 can do 2 jobs: dry mopping or wet mopping.
When dry mopping, it can clean an area of 1000 sq ft. When doing wet mopping, Braava jet m6 6110 can only clean an area of 400 sq ft to 1000 sq ft.

Compare Braava jet m6 vs Braava jet 240
The Braava jet m6 is designed for larger homes. It is capable of whole home mopping and sweeping thanks to the addition of automatically-recharge and auto-resume feature.
The Braava jet 240 is designed for small area cleaning. It does not have an auto-resume feature. As such, it will cost less than it’s big brother the M6, so you will need to decide whether the advanced features are worth the additional investment.
Braava jet m6 uses the latest navigation technologies with mapping capability and inter-communication with Roomba models. Braava jet 240 does not have these benefits
Both models have wet mopping and dry sweeping modes. Braava jet m6 has a bigger footprint (10 in) so it can clean faster than Braava jet 240 (about 6 in only).
