The Hoover FloorMate® Deluxe Hard Floor Cleaner is an exclusive design for hard floor cleaning. Unlike a traditional mop, this machine uses rotating brushes and a motor to lift up and remove the dirt embedded on the floor grouts.

When shopping for this hard floor cleaning machine, don’t be confused if you see different model numbers such as FH40160PC or FH40160. The extra letters at the end simply distinguish vendors, otherwise they are the same.

If your home is covered by bare floors only, Hoover FloorMate Deluxe will be a great choice to daily clean up spillages, hair, sand, grout. You should realize this unit is designed for sealed floors.

On the downside, many users said the motor quality of this model is questionable. Some said their motor stops working for a few months ( about 5 percent of consumers). Some others said the machine works amazingly for a decade.

Hoover FloorMate Deluxe is an upright hard floor cleaner. It is measured by 14.4 x 12.8 x 32.8 inches and it uses a motor of 3 amps to deliver scrubbing, suction power. The unit has 2 separate water tank (48 oz. per each tank). The total unit is less than 14 lbs.

To clean hard floors, there are 2 attachments. One cleaner head is for hard floors (tile, marble). Another one is for dedicate hard floors (hardwood floors).

You can use this cleaner with 2 settings.

The wash mode uses the brushes and suction power to clean the floors.

Thy dry mode uses suction power only to remove the excessive water and let the floor dries faster.

When encountering the stains, the clean boost feature at your fingertip to give more detergent to stains and spots.
